A friendly and good option for a pint and burger before Tottenham games at White Hart Lane. The Pride of Tottenham got smashed during the riots in Tottenham 2011.
Smashed and robbed in the Tottenham Riots
Niche Mufwankolo, owner of the Pride of Tottenham pub, rushed from his Palmers Green home to check on his bar in the High Road - only to find yobs methodically trashing his new business.
He shouted at the teenage mob, one of whom he spotted carrying a knife, before fleeing upstairs and locking himself in his office - watching in horror on the CCTV as they ripped his treasured pub apart.
But when the rioters gave chase and starting kicking down his office door, Mr Mufwankolo had to make the terrifying choice of jumping from a larger window and risk serious or even fatal injury or try to squeeze through a window no bigger than one square foot.
They took seven plasma TVs, the CCTV and music system, as well as every single bottle of booze in the bar. The windows were mindlessly smashed, even those on the first floor, and the majority of chairs were also dumped outside the entrance and torched.
